A New INPS Medico-Legal Centre Opens in Como - Putting the Person at the Heart of the Reform

In Como, Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli attended the inauguration of the new INPS Medico-Legal Centre, at a key stage in the disability reform process and the pilot phase provided for under Legislative Decree No. 62/2024.

"We are fundamentally changing the system for assessing disability," Locatelli said, stressing the need to place the person at the centre and to build a system of support based on dignity, rights and full participation.

The Minister thanked the leadership of INPS Lombardy and INPS Como, together with the professionals, staff and local institutions involved.

"Change has begun, and we can build it only together."
